Greetings and Welcome,

I am Tiffanie Trudeau, a Licensed Professional and Mental Health Counselor and this blog presents a collection of essays, articles and thoughts covering  a variety of personal wellness, relationship enhancement and emotional tolerance topics.

In my private psychotherapy practice, I work with individuals from all walks of life, yet who share in a common goal.  With that common goal being to have the life that they desire, and to live life on their terms from a place of love and acceptance.   In meeting these individuals where they are, I do not offer quick solutions or simplistic advice.   Instead, I serve as a witness to their story and an ally on their journey.

Therapy is more than what happens inside the therapy room.  Therapy happens in every interaction we find ourselves in, in every book or article we read, in every song we hear and in every sensation and emotion that we experience.  Therapy is about self reflection.

It is my hope that something found in the following pages will prompt you to pause, and reflect. Welcome to therapy!

As humans we are narrative creatures, telling ourselves and others stories about our lives, our past and our future.  Reading and writing are equally powerful means of expression and connection.

If you are seeking to learn how to make peace with your emotions and to find stability in your life and relationships, you have come to the right place.

While not a replacement for therapy, this blog will include strategies and present skills addressing issues related to emotion regulation, grief, depression, relationships, resiliency and self-care.
